Most popular online multiplayer games on the Switch

I’ve just bought my Switch, November is a great month, and I’m looking to boost my library with popular online multiplayer games. For shooters, I got Rogue Troopers Redux, and I’m getting Doom on the 10th... Not so keen on Splatoon 2, but I might give it a shot. Ultimately I want to know what games have a large online community?
